Tour in the Heart of Cappadocia
Day 1 Departure from Bucharest (Victoriei Square) on the route Giurgiu - Ruse - Kapikule. We cross Bulgaria and head towards Turkey. We cross the Dardanelles Strait on the new bridge and head to the hotel in Çanakkale. Day 2 We check in and have free time. Dinner at the hotel in Çanakkale. Day 3 After breakfast, we head to Kusadasi (430 km), but not before visiting the Trojan Horse. We take the cable car to the ancient city of Pergamon - an ancient Greek city located in the Aeolis region, in present-day Turkey, 26 km from the Aegean Sea, on a promontory on the northern side of the Caicus River (now Bakırçay). The city became the capital of the Kingdom of Pergamon during the Hellenistic period, under the Attalid dynasty, 281-133 BC. Parchment was invented here, and its name comes from the city's name. Check-in at the hotel in Kusadasi and dinner. Day 4 Breakfast and check-out. Visit to the House of the Virgin Mary and the Tomb of Saint John (optional). We leave for Pamukkale (200 km). We visit the huge natural travertine cascade, which resembles a great cotton castle. Pamukkale is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. We will visit the ruins of Hierapolis - the Sacred City and the famous limestone formations. Check-in and dinner in Pamukkale. Day 5 Breakfast. Check-out. We head to Cappadocia (620 km). On the way, we will stop in the city of Konya to see the Mevlana Museum and, if we have time, we will also visit Sultanhani - the largest Seljuk caravanserai, in the city of Aksaray. Check-in and dinner at the hotel in Cappadocia. Day 6 Breakfast. Optional hot air balloon ride (if possible). In Cappadocia, we visit the underground city of Kaymaklı, the Göreme open-air museum, and Pigeon Valley. Turkish evening in Cappadocia. Day 7 Breakfast and check-out. We head to Istanbul, but not without stopping in Ankara to visit the Mausoleum of Atatürk (740 km). Check-in at the hotel in Istanbul. Day 8 Breakfast. Optional cruise to the Princes' Islands. Optional Bosphorus cruise with dinner included. Day 9 Breakfast and check-out. Departure home on the route Edirne - Ruse - Giurgiu - Bucharest. The set price is for one place in a double room. Colibița, Vatra Dornei and Transrarău
Adventure and relaxation from the very first day, the destination being Bistrița, where we will have accommodation and dinner. On the way, however, we will admire the picturesque landscapes until we reach the heart of Transylvania. The next day we continue our tour to Vatra Dornei. We will start the day with a walking tour in Bistrița, then continue with a walk along the shore of Lake Colibița, also called the Mountain Sea, and we will explore the surroundings of the Tinovul de la Poiana Stampei. Accommodation and dinner in Vatra Dornei. The third day we head to Dorna Arini, but not before visiting the sights in Vatra Dornei. We continue with the visit of the traditional village Ciocănești – open-air museum – and with the Dorna Arini Monastery. Accommodation and dinner will be in Vatra Dornei. The fourth day begins with the spectacular crossing on Transrarău, with a stop at Poiana Teiului and Lake Bicaz. The return will be made, surely, with the soul full of the beauty of mountainous Moldova.
