Danube Delta Nature Escape 4 days / 3 nights – nature, photography and local experiences Day 1 – Bucharest – Murighiol Morning departure from Bucharest by van and arrival at Pensiunea La Murighiol. After check-in: visit to Halmyris Fortress; stop at Halmyris Monastery; walk in the Sărături Lake area; sunset photography session; free time at the pool. Halmyris Fortress and the salt lakes near Murighiol can complete the program without long journeys. Day 2 – Boat trip and gastronomic experience After breakfast, a boat trip of approximately four hours: navigation on natural channels; crossing several lakes; observation of pelicans, cormorants, egrets and swans; areas with water lilies; stops for photos; presentation of flora and fauna by the local guide. The approximately four-hour routes from Murighiol can include Uzlina, Isac, Isacel lakes and other natural channels, the exact route being established based on the conditions on the day of the trip. After the trip: traditional lunch with fish dishes; free time at the guesthouse; short sunset boat trip; nature photography session. Local operators also offer dedicated sunset trips, usually shorter than the day trips. Day 3 – Birdwatching, kayaking and local activities Early morning: birdwatching session; bird observation and photography; walk in the lake area near the locality. After breakfast: kayak or canoe tour, depending on the availability of an authorized operator; free time for the pool and relaxation; workshop or demonstration of preparing a fish dish; optional recreational fishing, only in permitted areas and with the necessary documents. In the evening, a traditional Dobrogean meal can be organized at the guesthouse or at a local household. Day 4 – Murighiol – Bucharest Breakfast and check-out. Before departure: short walk through the locality; purchase of local products; time for photos and souvenirs. Departure to Bucharest by van. Recommended included activities approximately four-hour boat trip; sunset boat trip; birdwatching; visit to Halmyris Fortress and Monastery; photography sessions; one traditional meal with fish dishes; access to the guesthouse pool.
