What is Avangarde Tourism?
A travel agency in Bucharest that is also a platform where licensed agencies, tour operators and guides publish their trips. You choose a trip or tell us what you're looking for, and an Avangarde consultant handles the booking end to end.
What's the difference between a consultant and an online agency?
An online agency shows you lists of hotels and flights, and you put them together yourself. A consultant builds the trip with you, checks how the flights, transfers and accommodation connect, and answers the phone if anything changes along the way.
Can I change the hotel or the departure date?
Yes. Our offers are starting points, not fixed packages. We'll change the hotel, the number of nights or the date, then send you the revised price before you confirm anything.
What does the price shown include?
Where the partner has supplied it, the trip page has a “What's included” section, set out point by point — accommodation, meals, transfers, guide, entrance fees. Anything not listed there isn't included, and your consultant confirms the full list on the phone before you pay the deposit.
How much do I pay when I book?
A deposit, with the percentage stated on each offer — for the trips in our catalogue it's between 10% and 50%. Unless the offer says otherwise, the standard deposit is 50%. The rest is paid before you travel.
Why can't I find an offer I saw before?
We only publish offers that can still be booked. Expired offers and trips that have already left disappear from the site automatically. Write to us and we'll find you an equivalent departure.
Do you help with group travel too?
Yes — large families, groups of friends, company teams or pilgrimages. Tell us how many of you there are and what dates you have in mind, and your consultant will suggest some options.
When can I call you?
Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 18:00, on any of the four numbers on the site. Outside office hours, leave a message and we'll call you back first thing on the next working day.
What happens if I cancel?
The cancellation policy appears on the trip page when the partner has supplied it, and it is always sent to you in writing, with deadlines and percentages, before you pay the deposit. We can go through it together on the phone, if you prefer.
I'd like to become a partner. How do I sign up?
Fill in the partner questionnaire — it takes a few minutes. We check your licence, sign the contract and publish your first trips in three languages.
