Cape Town New Year Escape Terms and Conditions & Cancellation Policy 1. Booking and Payment A booking is confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued. The booking is not secured until payment has been received. The remaining balance must be paid by the date stated on the booking confirmation. Failure to make payment by the required date may result in cancellation of the booking and the applicable cancellation fees. Prices are subject to availability until the booking has been confirmed. 2. Cancellation by the Traveller All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation fees are based on the date the written cancellation is received. More than 60 days before departure: 20% of the total package price. 31–60 days before departure: 50% of the total package price. 15–30 days before departure: 75% of the total package price. 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total package price. No-shows or unused services: 100% of the total package price. Certain services, including accommodation, attraction tickets, restaurant bookings, New Year's Eve dinner arrangements and other prepaid services, may have additional non-refundable supplier charges. These charges may be deducted from any eligible refund. 3. Cancellation by the Tour Operator The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or modify the package where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary or unsafe to operate the itinerary. Where possible, an alternative arrangement of a similar standard will be offered. If an appropriate alternative cannot be provided, any eligible refund will be processed after applicable supplier costs have been deducted. The tour operator will not be responsible for additional costs incurred by travellers, including independently booked flights, accommodation or other travel arrangements. 4. Itinerary Changes The itinerary may be adjusted due to weather, road conditions, attraction closures, operational requirements, government regulations, public events or other circumstances beyond the tour operator's control. Every reasonable effort will be made to maintain the advertised itinerary and provide suitable alternatives where necessary. 5. Travel Insurance Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should include cover for trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, lost luggage and travel interruption. 6. Flights International and domestic flights are not included in the package. Travellers who arrange flights independently are responsible for ensuring that their flight schedules allow sufficient time to participate in the itinerary. The tour operator is not responsible for missed services resulting from delayed, cancelled or rescheduled flights booked independently. 7. Acceptance of Terms Payment of the booking constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation Policy. By confirming the booking, the traveller acknowledges that they have read and understood the applicable cancellation fees and package conditions.
