Cancellation policy
Booking and Payment
A booking is confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by the tour operator. The booking is not secured until payment has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid by the date stated on the booking confirmation. Failure to make payment by the required date may result in cancellation of the booking and the applicable cancellation fees.
Prices are quoted in the currency stated at the time of booking and are subject to availability until the booking has been confirmed.
Package Inclusions
The package includes only the services specifically listed in the itinerary under "Included". Any service, activity, meal, transfer, excursion or expense not specifically listed as included will be for the traveller's own account.

Cancellation by the Tour Operator
The tour operator reserves the right to cancel or substantially change the tour where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary or unsafe to operate the itinerary.
Where possible, travellers will be offered an alternative arrangement of a similar standard or a refund in accordance with the amounts recoverable from suppliers.
The tour operator will not be responsible for additional expenses incurred by travellers as a result of cancellation, including independently booked flights, accommodation, transfers or other arrangements.
Itinerary Changes
The itinerary may be changed where reasonably necessary due to weather conditions, road conditions, local circumstances, government regulations, attraction closures, transport schedules, operational requirements or safety concerns.
Every reasonable effort will be made to maintain the advertised itinerary and provide suitable alternative arrangements where changes are required.
Travel Documents and Entry Requirements
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, visas, permits and any other documentation required for travel to Egypt.
The tour operator is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry or travel disruption resulting from incorrect, incomplete or expired travel documentation.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. Insurance should ideally cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, trip interruption, lost or damaged baggage and other unforeseen travel circumstances.
Travellers are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance.
Health and Medical Requirements
Travellers are responsible for ensuring that they are fit to participate in the activities included in the itinerary and for obtaining any medical advice, vaccinations or medication required for travel.
Any relevant medical, mobility or dietary requirements should be communicated to the tour operator before travel.
Personal Belongings
Travellers are responsible for their passports, money, luggage, valuables and personal belongings throughout the trip.
The tour operator will not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings unless caused by proven negligence on the part of the tour operator.
Meals and Dietary Requirements
Daily breakfast is included as specified in the itinerary. Lunch, dinner, drinks and beverages are excluded unless specifically stated as included.
Special dietary requirements should be communicated at the time of booking. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests, they cannot always be guaranteed.
Transportation
Transportation will be provided according to the itinerary. Certain transportation services may be operated by independent third-party suppliers.
Transportation schedules may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, operational changes or other circumstances beyond the tour operator's control.
Sleeper Train
The overnight sleeper train to Luxor is subject to availability and railway operating schedules. Train times, carriage types and sleeping arrangements may be changed by the railway operator.
Any changes will be communicated to travellers where reasonably possible.
Accommodation
Hotels are subject to availability and confirmation. If the advertised accommodation is unavailable, the tour operator reserves the right to provide alternative accommodation of a comparable standard.
Hotel check-in and check-out times are determined by the individual property.
Children and Family Travel
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for children travelling as part of the booking and must ensure that children follow the safety rules and requirements of accommodation providers, transportation operators and activity providers.
Certain optional activities may have age, height or other safety restrictions.
Third-Party Suppliers
Certain services may be provided by independent third-party suppliers, including hotels, railway operators, transport companies, guides and excursion providers.
The tour operator will make reasonable efforts to select reputable suppliers but cannot be held responsible for circumstances caused directly by third-party suppliers that are outside the tour operator's reasonable control.
Force Majeure
The tour operator will not be liable for failure or delay in providing services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These may include natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics or pandemics, war, civil unrest, terrorism, government restrictions, border closures, strikes, transport disruptions or other unforeseen events.
Pricing and Currency
The package price is based on rates available at the time of quotation and may change before confirmation due to changes in accommodation, transportation, taxes, government charges, currency fluctuations or supplier rates.
Once the booking has been confirmed and the agreed payment terms have been fulfilled, the confirmed package price will apply, subject to circumstances outside the tour operator's control.
Traveller Responsibility
Travellers are expected to behave respectfully towards local communities, guides, drivers, hotel staff and other travellers.
The tour operator reserves the right to remove a traveller from the tour if their behaviour is considered dangerous, abusive, disruptive or poses a risk to themselves or others.
No refund will be provided for unused services where a traveller is removed from the tour due to unacceptable behaviour.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, the amount will be calculated after deduction of applicable cancellation fees, non-refundable supplier costs and any other charges incurred in connection with the booking.
Refund processing times may depend on the relevant suppliers and payment providers.
Flights
International and domestic flights are not included in the package price.
Travellers who arrange flights independently are responsible for ensuring that their flight schedules allow sufficient time to meet the tour itinerary.
The tour operator is not responsible for missed services resulting from delayed, cancelled or rescheduled flights booked independently by the traveller.
Acceptance of Terms
By making payment and confirming the booking, the traveller acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions and the Cancellation Policy.
The traveller also acknowledges that optional activities, meals and services not specifically listed as included are excluded from the package price.
We strongly recommend that travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance and avoid making non-refundable independent travel arrangements until the tour booking has been formally confirmed.
