Cancellation policy

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. 30 days or more before departure: Full refund. 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund. Less than 15 days before departure: No refund. Refunds will be processed within **14 business days** of approval using the original payment method where possible. If a guest fails to arrive for the tour (no-show) or leaves the tour after it has commenced, no refund will be issued for any unused services. If Sunset Sands Expeditions cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to a future departure date. We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, travel delays, and personal belongings.
