We invite you to discover with us one of the most spectacular mountain roads in the world: the legendary Transfăgărășan! We will cross the Făgăraș Mountains on a spectacular route, with impressive hairpin turns, waterfalls, alpine landscapes, and breathtaking views. Bâlea Waterfall will be the first major stop, being one of the most famous and spectacular waterfalls in Romania. Located at over 1,200 meters altitude, the waterfall offers an impressive natural setting and fresh mountain air. We will then travel along the famous Transfăgărășan, the road that crosses the Făgăraș Mountains and connects Transylvania with Muntenia. The spectacular hairpin turns, tunnels, and views over the mountain ridges turn this journey into an unforgettable experience. We then arrive at Bâlea Lake, located at an altitude of 2,034 meters, in the middle of an impressive alpine landscape. We will have time for a walk, photos, and to enjoy the beauty of one of the most famous glacial lakes in Romania. We continue our journey to Curtea de Argeș Monastery, one of the most important historical and religious monuments in the country. We will discover the remarkable architecture of the monastery and the story of the legendary Meșter Manole, closely tied to the building of this place of worship. Fairy Tale Maramureș
We invite you on a 4-day trip to the heart of traditions, fairytale landscapes, and places steeped in history! We begin our adventure with a visit to Târgu Mureș, an elegant and colorful city. After the city tour, we continue our journey to Maramureș, where we will arrive at Conacul Cosăului, our accommodation – traditional, welcoming, and peaceful, perfect for a few days of relaxation. On the second day, we will explore the landmarks of Maramureș: Sighetu Marmației – a museum-city steeped in history, the Nail where the map hangs, Săpânța & the Merry Cemetery – famous worldwide for its colorful stories, and Săpânța Peri Monastery – the largest wooden church in Europe. In the evening, we return to the guesthouse, where we will have dinner and a traditional party – an authentic Maramureș atmosphere! We dedicate the morning of the third day to a unique experience, namely visits to: Bârsana Monastery – one of the most beautiful monasteries in Romania, and the Maramureș Peasant Woman Museum. We return to the guesthouse for a quiet evening. The fourth day is dedicated to the journey home, but not before visiting the spectacular Teleki Castle in Posmuș, a true architectural gem reborn in recent years. Colibița, Vatra Dornei and Transrarău
Adventure and relaxation from the very first day, the destination being Bistrița, where we will have accommodation and dinner. On the way, however, we will admire the picturesque landscapes until we reach the heart of Transylvania. The next day we continue our tour to Vatra Dornei. We will start the day with a walking tour in Bistrița, then continue with a walk along the shore of Lake Colibița, also called the Mountain Sea, and we will explore the surroundings of the Tinovul de la Poiana Stampei. Accommodation and dinner in Vatra Dornei. The third day we head to Dorna Arini, but not before visiting the sights in Vatra Dornei. We continue with the visit of the traditional village Ciocănești – open-air museum – and with the Dorna Arini Monastery. Accommodation and dinner will be in Vatra Dornei. The fourth day begins with the spectacular crossing on Transrarău, with a stop at Poiana Teiului and Lake Bicaz. The return will be made, surely, with the soul full of the beauty of mountainous Moldova.

Day trip: Bucharest – Ștefănești – Curtea de Argeș Highlights: The Golești Museum of Viticulture and Fruit Growing, a place not to be missed by history lovers, offers a picturesque glimpse into rural life, both of the boyar and the peasant. The main building is the Golești Manor, built in 1640 by Vișa din Golești and her husband, Stroe Leurdeanu. Inside, the family setting of the Golești boyars is recreated, spanning from the late 18th century to the early 20th century. The open-air museum reveals to today's generations the crafts and traditions of their ancestors. A park spanning many hectares houses traditional cottages from all over Romania. It is a place where nature, history, and traditions intertwine to create unique moments for the visitor. Vila Florica – the Brătianu family manor is one of the most beautiful boyar estates in Romania, very well preserved to this day. It is the manor where the most important family of Romanian politicians was born and raised, a family that played a decisive role in the making of modern Romania. The estate consists of the manor, a farm, a chapel, a wine cellar, a train station, and an astronomical observatory, all set in the middle of a vast park surrounded by the vineyards of Ștefănești. Curtea de Argeș, one of the former capital cities of Romania, offers a new page of history and spirituality. A short stroll through the city streets will reveal to visitors the architectural wonders it possesses. We cannot visit the city without paying our respects at the Curtea de Argeș Monastery, a symbol of faith and a jewel of medieval Romanian art. It is one of the most important monasteries in the country, as it is not only a place of worship but a sanctuary housing the tombs of Romania's kings and queens. Founded by Prince Neagoe Basarab, the church became famous through its association with the myth of creation represented by the well-known legend of Meșterul Manole. Part of the same ensemble is the Chapel-Paraclis, which houses the relics of the Holy Martyr Filofteia. Towards evening, we will head home, reminiscing about the wonderful moments offered by this short journey through places steeped in history, spirituality, and nature. The Bicaz Gorges is our next stop and represents one of the most spectacular mountain routes in Romania - steep rock walls, dizzying serpentines, and breathtaking views. If you want to delight your soul, we invite you to the wonderful landscape of the Nera Gorges. You will spend 4 dream days surrounded by the sound of this wild nature, with turquoise waters. If you are wondering when, we inform you that we intend to enter these dream lands in September, more precisely September 20-23, 2026. The route? Departures from Bucharest and Pitești Itinerary: Bucharest – Pitești – Geoagiu – Orăștie – Banpotoc (I Giardini di Zoe) – Deva – Hunedoara – Bucharest The route gives us the opportunity to discover interesting stories about the existence of the Romanian people, to appreciate the talent and skill that the inhabitants of these wonderful lands have shown and continue to show, and to admire the beauty of the places we travel through. Day 1 Bucharest – Geoagiu – Orăștie – I Giardini di Zoe – Deva We set off from Bucharest on a route that takes us through wonderful landscapes, among towering mountains and along spectacular river valleys. Geoagiu We visit the Rotunda Church or Romanic Chapel, which is said to be the oldest stone church in Romania, built in the 11th–12th centuries. It has a unique architecture due to its circular plan and the materials from which it is constructed. Orăștie Visit to the Transylvanian Village Museum, where we will admire some of the most beautiful houses in Transylvania, over a century old. After this short journey through rural life of times past, we can enjoy traditional dishes cooked with great care, "just like at home." Banpotoc – I Giardini di Zoe From rural life, we make a leap towards aristocracy; we will imagine ourselves strolling through the courtyard of a palace where we are the masters. We will be able to capture fairytale landscapes to share with friends back home. Deva In the evening, we arrive at the accommodation. Free time for dinner and an evening stroll. Day 2 Deva – Hunedoara – Bucharest After breakfast, we will visit the Deva Fortress, an important medieval fortification of Transylvania built in the 13th century, "the largest and most successful fortification in Europe before the discovery of firearms," as the Transylvanian architect Nicolae Bethlen said. Located on a volcanic cone at an altitude of 378 m, the fortress attracts thousands of tourists whose eyes are delighted by the panorama of the Mureș Valley. We continue with a pleasant, relaxing walk through the Citadel Park and a new foray into history at the Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilization, located in the Bethlen Castle, the oldest historical monument building in Deva. Hunedoara We cannot pass through Hunedoara without visiting the Corvin Castle, "the living legend of Transylvania," ranked among the most beautiful castles in the world. The castle is one of the most impressive military architecture monuments in Eastern Europe. Associated with this castle are the names of Vlad Țepeș, who is said to have been imprisoned here, and Iancu de Hunedoara, who transformed the former royal fortress into a castle. For those who enjoy being children sometimes, we propose a visit to the magical world of the Train Museum, a unique museum that contains part of the impressive miniature collection of former Hunedoara rally driver Valentin Banciu, winner of several automotive trophies. The collection is the result of a passion for modeling and trains, a passion born at a young age and continued for over 40 years. If yesterday we admired the Romanian village in full size, today we will see it in miniature at the Marc Dollhouse Museum. The museum has rooms dedicated to dollhouses and international architecture. Each piece, crafted with great care and meticulousness, reflects a love for tradition and respect for the past, and the stories associated with each house take us on a true imaginary journey. Route: Bucharest - Târgoviște - Nămăești - Câmpulung This trip takes us through places where history intertwines with spirituality. We will visit two former Romanian capitals and reflect in locations surrounded by fairytale landscapes. Itinerary: - Târgoviște, the former capital of Wallachia for over three centuries, starting in 1396, during the reign of Mircea the Elder. We will visit the Princely Court Monumental Ensemble. - Dealu Monastery, one of the oldest princely foundations, is the resting place of the head of ruler Michael the Brave. - Nămăești Monastery, the church carved into the rock, is located in the village of the same name in Argeș County and houses the icon considered the oldest in Romania, painted by Saint Apostle and Evangelist Luke himself. - Câmpulung - the first capital of Wallachia. We will take a stroll on the famous "Pardon" boulevard and learn its story, then we can enjoy the delicacies of the well-known "Iepurașul" pastry shop. - Negru Vodă Monastery houses the oldest preserved tombstone of a Romanian ruler. After a day full of new experiences, we head back to Bucharest.
