The palace was built with a clear European influence, highlighting a departure from the traditional Ottoman architectural style. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to explore various sections, including the Ceremonial Hall, the Imperial Harem and the sultan's private apartments. The Dolmabahce Clock Tower, the Palace Mosque and the grand gardens enhance the palace's charm. The palace's most iconic feature is undoubtedly the Crystal Staircase, a masterpiece of craftsmanship. The stunning crystal chandelier in the Ceremonial Hall is another attraction that highlights the palace's unparalleled opulence. Dolmabahce Palace also holds a significant place in Turkey's history, as it is where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk spent his last days. The center of the Ortakoy neighborhood and the Ortakoy Mosque, which is among the most beautiful mosques in Istanbul. Located right before the Bosphorus, the Ortakoy Mosque has an absolutely superb view. This is why the Ortakoy Mosque, at sunset and sunrise, offers its visitors the most photogenic opportunities imaginable. Due to the mosque's unique location, the Ortakoy Mosque and the Bosphorus Bridge are very close. The Ortakoy Mosque is situated in an open-air square in Ortakoy, one of the quirkiest and most historic neighborhoods in Istanbul. Fairy Tale Maramureș
We invite you on a 4-day trip to the heart of traditions, fairytale landscapes, and places steeped in history! We begin our adventure with a visit to Târgu Mureș, an elegant and colorful city. Colibița, Vatra Dornei and Transrarău
Adventure and relaxation from the very first day, the destination being Bistrița, where we will have accommodation and dinner. Day trip: Bucharest – Ștefănești – Curtea de Argeș Highlights: The Golești Museum of Viticulture and Fruit Growing, a place not to be missed by history lovers, offers a picturesque glimpse into rural life, both of the boyar and the peasant. The main building is the Golești Manor, built in 1640 by Vișa din Golești and her husband, Stroe Leurdeanu. Inside, the family setting of the Golești boyars is recreated, spanning from the late 18th century to the early 20th century. The open-air museum reveals to today's generations the crafts and traditions of their ancestors. A park spanning many hectares houses traditional cottages from all over Romania. It is a place where nature, history, and traditions intertwine to create unique moments for the visitor. Vila Florica – the Brătianu family manor is one of the most beautiful boyar estates in Romania, very well preserved to this day. It is the manor where the most important family of Romanian politicians was born and raised, a family that played a decisive role in the making of modern Romania. The estate consists of the manor, a farm, a chapel, a wine cellar, a train station, and an astronomical observatory, all set in the middle of a vast park surrounded by the vineyards of Ștefănești. Curtea de Argeș, one of the former capital cities of Romania, offers a new page of history and spirituality. A short stroll through the city streets will reveal to visitors the architectural wonders it possesses. We cannot visit the city without paying our respects at the Curtea de Argeș Monastery, a symbol of faith and a jewel of medieval Romanian art. It is one of the most important monasteries in the country, as it is not only a place of worship but a sanctuary housing the tombs of Romania's kings and queens. Founded by Prince Neagoe Basarab, the church became famous through its association with the myth of creation represented by the well-known legend of Meșterul Manole. Part of the same ensemble is the Chapel-Paraclis, which houses the relics of the Holy Martyr Filofteia. Towards evening, we will head home, reminiscing about the wonderful moments offered by this short journey through places steeped in history, spirituality, and nature.
